New York, NY –
Spring 2006.
On Wednesday, May 10th nearly 100 people, including
graduates, guests, faculty, and officers of the General Society gathered to
celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s graduating class at the
Mechanics’ Institute’s 186th Graduation Ceremony.
Through diligence and a desire to improve
themselves, participants availed themselves of Mechanics’ Institute’s
tuition-free programs in Electrical Technology, Construction Project
Management, and Facilities Management and received diplomas this year for
having successfully completed their two- and three-year technical
programs. The ceremony, which took place
in The General Society’s Library, included the first graduating class of
Facilities Managers from the Institute.
Mechanics’
Institute is currently accepting applications for the fall 2006 semester,
which begins on September 11th. The institute will be offering a
number of tuition-free evening courses in Facilities Management.
Courses are held in the evening, between 5 and 9 pm.
